End of line Flame Arrester

The End of Line Flame Arrester is a specialized safety device installed at the termination of tank vent lines. Designed to allow atmospheric tanks to breathe while preventing external ignition—such as lightning or sparks—from entering the tank, this flame arrester is your first line of defense. Utilizing a high-integrity stainless steel flame arrester element, it quenches flame fronts instantly to prevent catastrophic explosions in volatile storage environments.

Producdt Description:

High-Performance Fire Protection: The ZCPE Flame Arrester Series Our End of Line Flame Arrester is a critical safety component designed to protect atmospheric storage tanks from external ignition sources. Primarily composed of a robust shell and a high-efficiency fire element, these Flame Arresters act as a thermal barrier to quench flames before they can enter the tank. To ensure maximum reliability across diverse industrial applications, we offer two distinct types of internal fire elements tailored to your safety requirements.

Precision-Engineered Fire Elements

  • Corrugated Filter Element: This element is supported by high-grade materials including stainless steel, copper-nickel alloy, aluminum, or aluminum alloy. The corrugated design is specifically engineered to prevent the fierce flame of deflagration while withstanding intense mechanical and thermal effects. Furthermore, it offers small flow resistance and is exceptionally easy to clean and replace.

  • Metal Mesh Filter Element: Constructed for precision, this element consists of overlapping layers of stainless steel or copper mesh with a diameter of 0.23-0.315 mm. Following the rigorous standards for Flame Arresters in China, our units typically utilize 16-22 mesh metal grids arranged in 4-12 precision layers.

Durable Construction for Industrial Safety Whether you are installing an End of Line Flame Arrester for atmospheric venting or an in-line solution for piping systems, our products ensure uncompromising integrity. By utilizing premium stainless steel flame arrester technology, we provide a fail-safe solution that quenches fire fronts effectively while maintaining the necessary breathing capacity of your storage vessels.

Installation:

  1. Remove all flange cover and discard all packaging materials.
  2. Check the seat, the matching flange gasket on the seat surface. It must be clean, flat, scratch-free, corrosion-resistant, tool traces.
  3. Check the gasket to ensure that the material is suitable forapplication.
  4. Lubricate all studs and nuts with proper thread lubricant. If the fastener is a high temperature stainless steel material, a back-grabbing compound, such as molybdenum disulfide, is used.
  5. Inside gasket of bolt ring.
  6. Installing flange of Inline flame arrester shell to butt with flange of pipeline, attention should be paid to the position of lifting handle and top nut of In line flame arrester element to facilitate the removal of In line flame arrester elements in the future.

Zhenchao FAQ

Technical Guide: End of Line Flame Arrester FAQ

Q1:What is the difference between corrugated and metal mesh elements?

A1:The corrugated element is designed to withstand the fierce thermal effects of deflagration with minimal flow resistance, while the metal mesh version uses 4-12 layers of precision stainless steel or copper mesh to quench flames.

Q2:Can the End of Line Flame Arrester handle corrosive environments?

A2:Yes. By using a stainless steel flame arrester element or copper-nickel alloys, our units provide superior resistance to chemical erosion and oxidation.

Q3:Is it difficult to maintain these Flame Arresters?

A3:Not at all. Especially with our corrugated design, the fire element is specifically engineered to be easy to clean and replace, ensuring your End of Line Flame Arrester remains effective over time.

Q4:What are the standard mesh specifications used?

A4: In accordance with Chinese industrial standards, we typically use 16-22 mesh metal grids with a wire diameter of 0.23-0.315 mm.

Q5:Why is flow resistance important for an End of Line Flame Arrester?

A5:Low flow resistance ensures that the tank can breathe efficiently during normal operation while the flame arrester provides a constant safety barrier against external ignition.
